How we work
Design discipline, carried all the way to site.
Architecture and engineering sit in the same studio. Drawings are coordinated before they leave the building, and the same team that designs a project supervises its construction — so the building that opens is the building that was drawn.

The practice
Building in the UAE since 1987.
Al Ajmi Engineering Consultants was established in 1987 in Abu Dhabi by founder Eng. Suhaib Al Ajmi, with the Dubai branch opening in 1994. Today the practice works across the Emirates as a multi-disciplinary architectural design and engineering consultancy.
The firm is licensed to design and supervise the construction of buildings regardless of height, type or complexity — a remit that spans urban developments, hotels, residential apartments, villas, banks, offices, industrial and institutional buildings, and mosques.
The firm states it has delivered 100+ projects with a team of around 30 professionals, and that it was ranked among the top 10 architectural firms in Dubai (Rod Millington Report, Sept 2014). These are the firm's own attributed figures, shown here pending client confirmation.
