Tucked into the ground floor of Dubai Hills Mall, Bakerist is part patisserie counter, part all-day restaurant — a warm, brick-and-chandelier dining room where the ovens never really stop.

Pastry chefs lay out croissants, kulich cakes and cream-filled shortcakes from early morning, while the kitchen plates breakfast, salads and slow-cooked mains through the day. It's the kind of place you drop into for a coffee and a croissant and end up staying for lunch.
