Compare the order, delivery and invoice
Procurement connects purchase requests, orders, receiving and supplier invoices. Three-way matching asks whether what you were invoiced agrees with what you ordered and received. Differences need review before the invoice is booked. Try an order for ten items with only eight received, then inspect the supplier invoice. This is a more meaningful evaluation than simply opening an empty purchasing dashboard.
Put requests before purchases
A purchase request captures what is needed and why before an order is placed. Approval rights and configured limits determine who can review it. Procurement also supports supplier quotations and budget checks. These controls depend on the enabled app and its configuration; they are not a promise that every plan automatically contains a complete purchasing process. Start with one buyer and one reviewer, then expand after the team understands the flow.
Use optional Books posting approval
Books can require review above a configured base-currency threshold. The control applies per journal, not as an accumulated daily spending cap. A requester cannot approve their own request. Approval authorizes the saved financial request; it does not itself post the transaction. The original action still has to resume and pass current permission, balance and version checks. This distinction helps a team avoid confusing an approved request with a completed ledger entry.
Let Today show the next action
The Today workspace gathers permitted work into groups such as approvals, money, customers and operations. Different roles can see different queues because access and responsibilities differ. Start the day here, then open the underlying record to act. Optional AI assistance is a separate owner-controlled capability; ordinary navigation and operational records do not require turning it on.
Find an app without memorising its location
Open All apps and type part of an app name. The new search filters the apps already available to your account and hides empty groups. It does not unlock a module or change permissions. The main search button is also available without a keyboard shortcut. Use Show me around on the dashboard or setup page to replay the interactive orientation.
Evaluate one connected business flow
Pick a real scenario: an enquiry becomes a quotation, work is delivered, and an invoice is recorded. Check the links and responsibilities at each stage using the apps in your plan. Then test a purchasing exception or approval, rather than only the happy path. Current app availability and plan requirements remain visible on Kluvan’s product website; features described as early access or coming soon should not be assumed to be generally available.
